In the first image you'll see everything that I use to create watercolour pieces. My favourite paint to use is the Winsor and Newton cotman watercolours I find them to be very pigmented and vibrant.
I always begin my pieces using a mechanical pencil and just sketching a quick outline, I then go in with the paint and slowly build up the colours gradually as watercolour is transparent it can take a few layers to get the opacity you are looking for, once it has dried I sometimes use watercolour pencils to create texture. Lastly for some of my paintings i use a fineliner ink pen to outline certain details like the eyes, nose and mouth.
